HTC HD2 gets pricing and launch date details

The HTC HD2 (formerly known as the HTC Leo) is set to start shipping in the UK from 20 November. But the SIM-free version looks set to set punters back £550 for the priviliege.

The smartphone features a 4.3-inch touchscreen running Windows Phone 6.5. It also very much looks like the phone will feature a capacitive touchscreen as it will sport a pinch to zoom functionality. Inside, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The company has also put the Sense UI skin on Winodws Phone, presumably in a bid to hide the normal user interface from prying eyes. Like most other manufacturers, it has made a shed of of tweaks in order to make the phone run fast.

The handset also comes with 5-Megapixel camera with dual LED flash and auto-focus, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, a standard headphone jack, HSUPA and GPS.
