No-one wants the battery life of their camera to run out just as the photo opportunity of a lifetime appears. Sony's got your back in that respect and its new α450 camera offers "the most impressive shooting stamina of any DSLR camera by Sony to date".
The high-capacity battery allows up to 1,050 shots between charges when using the optical viewfinder (CIPA measurement), which Sony says is "plenty for a busy weekend’s sightseeing".
The new α450 DSLR camera offers:
* 14.2 effective megapixels Exmor CMOS sensor
* Up to seven frames per second continuous shooting
* Manual Focus Check Live View
* 6.7cm (2.7”) Clear Photo LCD screen
* Auto High Dynamic Range image, shooting two successive frames at different exposure values then merging the bright highlights and dark shadow details in a single frame automatically
* BIONZ processor to deliver highly detailed, ultra-low noise images
* Sensitivity up to ISO 12800
* SteadyShot Inside uses up to four steps of anti-shake correction.
* Approximate dimensions excluding protrusions (W x H x D): 137mm x 104mm x 81mm
* Approximate weight: 520g
The Sony DSLR-A450 digital SLR camera features slots for Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo and SD/SDHC memory cards and is available from the beginning of February 2010. blog comments powered by Disqus
