When you're dreaming about sleek, chic gadgets, one of the last items on your mind is likely to be the clunky grey air conditioner. LG Electronics is trying to change that with its much more aesthetically pleasing Artcool air-con units.

Designed so that they can look like a piece of art, the LG AS-W126F1G0 Artcool is one of the, erm coolest looking air-conditioner systems we’ve seen.

The unit attaches to the wall and has a frame around it which you can open, allowing you to place works of art like Van Gogh’s Sunflowers or a Picasso of your choice in it.
