Well it took just over six minutes. But to be fair to the vendor, we didn't bother looking at the user manual and so used the four screws that hold the case together to tether the hard disc to the enclosure. Once that was fixed, we powered it up and connected it to our laptop. It immediately recognised the drive and we could start using it straight away. It can be connected via either USB 2.0 or Firewire. It can hold most IDE parallel ATA hard disc drive and had no problem with our 60GB Hitachi disk drive. In operation the enclosure was whisper silent. Its looks will mean Mac Mini users should find this matches that computers looks extremely well. It costs £39.99 from Lindy's website. Rating: 9/10 |
