Medion stacks dual-core notebooks in supermarkets

Medion notebook MD96625Computer manufacturer Medion is teaming up with Sainsbury’s to introduce two new dual-core notebooks into the supermarket's larger UK stores from mid-February. The Windows Vista Home Premium laptops come with a 14-inch screen for portability or in the 17-inch desktop replacement format for “ultimate performance”.

Everyone's worried that someone, somewhere will be trying to hack their laptop and steal their identify. Of course you need to be careful but for a lot of people, all those security applications running on a modest computer do eat up resources and wasn't really why you bought the thing in the first place. Israeli security company Yoggie aims to change that with a little dongle that will do the security dirty work instead.

SanDisk 32GB Ultra II SDHCOliver Twist. Now there was a boy who always wanted more. Still, he’d have been happy with SanDisk, as the memory company has not only increased the capacity of its SDHC cards, it’s also made them read and write 50 per cent quicker.

Proving that the expression military intelligence is a collection of words that should never be added together, Defence Secretary Des Browne has admitted today that three military laptops with personal details of up to 600,000 people have been lost.
