Navman S50 3DNavman has updated its S30 and S50 sat-nav models to include 3D Landmarks of more than 1,000 buildings in cities across Europe. The devices will also feature a new content and services package called Navman Connect.

TomTom Go 910Sat-nav’s no good if you don’t have up-to-date maps. And TomTom reckons its maps are the most current, thanks to its Map Share users making updates as they go along. In fact, the company has already seen one million user corrections since it set up the scheme in July 2007.

A flooded car, yesterdayOK, so technically the bloke who followed his sat-nav’s instructions to drive through a flooded tunnel actually did the damage to the vehicle. If he’d had his peepers trained a bit more on the road maybe he wouldn’t have attempted to drive through it.
