BT Vision boxBT has packed its online tuck shop full of even more treats, after signing deals with major film studios and independent players. That means the UK’s 14 million broadband customers can now access film series such as Batman, Superman and Harry Potter, or coming-soon TV series such as ER, Without a Trace and Nip/Tuck.

“The BT Vision Download Store is accessible to everyone who has broadband – not just BT customers,” spake a BT PR pusher today.

”Content includes a wide range of movies, music, TV, short films and children’s programmes and new content partners announced today include Warner Bros, Avalon, Cookie Jar, Contender Home Entertainment and many more.”

The download-to-own service allows customers to choose from a wide range of film, television and music to play on their PCs and portable media devices.

Prices start from under £1 for a download, with some films selling for £16.99.

The selection of new releases includes Happy Feet (from 26 March 2007) and award-nominated blockbusters like Children Of Men, as well as classics, lifestyle programming and short films.
