Facebook friendsIT security company Sophos has warned computer users that Facebook accidentally publicly revealed personal information about its members, which could be useful to identity thieves.  The problem occurred following the roll-out of new Facebook profile design.

Troj/Tibs-UO and Mal/ObfJS-AYHackers are trying to infect computers using the camouflage of a news report claiming that the USA has invaded Iran. According to IT security and control firm Sophos, the widely spammed out emails use subject lines such as "Third World War has begun", "20000 US Soldiers in Iran", and "US Army crossed Iran's borders".

Singstar Pop malware infected websiteVideogamers are being warned that pages on the US-based Sony PlayStation website have been compromised by hackers. Researchers at IT security firm Sophos said they discovered unauthorised code on pages promoting the PlayStation games SingStar Pop and God Of War, which had been put there by cybercriminals.
