Mouse MouseComputer mice get their name – pretty obviously – because they look like mice. But two US designers have decided that their shape and tail-like lead wasn't close enough. Biologist Christa Canida and environmental studies graduate Noah Weinstein bought a frozen mouse from a pet shop and used its skin to cover a computer mouse.

google.jpgGoogle appears to have bested its rival Microsoft to become the world's most visited website and most valuable global brand, according to figures from comScore Networks. The search engine managed to rack up 528 million unique visitors last month, up 5 per cent on February.

supermultiblue2.jpgWhile Samsung makes the news with the announcement that it has launched its first dual format HD-DVD/Blu-Ray player in time for the Christmas holidays, rival Korean manufacturer LG Electronics has launched what it said is the world's first dual Blu-ray rewriter and HD DVD-ROM, the GGW-H10N, in the UK.
