Computer mice get their name – pretty obviously – because they look like mice. But two US designers have decided that their shape and tail-like lead wasn't close enough. Biologist Christa Canida and environmental studies graduate Noah Weinstein bought a frozen mouse from a pet shop and used its skin to cover a computer mouse.

visited website and most valuable global brand, according to figures
from comScore Networks. The search engine managed to rack up 528
million unique visitors last month, up 5 per cent on February.

While Samsung makes the news with the announcement that it has launched its first dual format HD-DVD/Blu-Ray player
in time for the Christmas holidays, rival Korean manufacturer LG
Electronics has launched what it said is the world's first dual Blu-ray
rewriter and HD DVD-ROM, the GGW-H10N, in the UK.
