Apple iPhoneExcitement may be building for Apple’s upcoming iPhone, but a round of hands-on experiences seems to have brought to light an unusual problem with the device. According to people who’ve actually had their hands on one, the problem is keeping your hands on one.

In
the opinion of the blogosphere, the smooth design can cause the iPhone
to slip out of your hand and go skittering across the floor.

With
its whopping price tag that could be a big issue for fans who don't
want their shiny bit of kit becoming all scratched and bumped.

Not that the phone can't take a licking and keep on, err, ticking.

One
blogger claims an Apple exec deliberately dropped an early iPhone model
on the (albeit carpeted) floor to show how sturdy it was.
