Called the New Xbox Experience, the upgrade sports several new features and a brand spanking new menu navigation system.

Gamers can download the update if they have 128MB of memory spare on their Xboxes.

Among
the new features included are Nintendo Wii style avatars, video

will also be able to transfer games to the hard drive for quicker
loading.

The new avatars will also be able to be used in Live Arcade games. Hardwood
Hearts, Hardwood Spades and Bomberman Live  are among the titles
supporting the feature, although getting avatars to work on the titles
requires some effort.
