Pioneer has finally managed to get its flagship BDP-LX91 Blu-ray player out of the stable.

The player sports BD-Live compatibility and the company’s 16-bit video
engine and the company’s Adaptive Bit Length Expansion technology,
which should make colours look more pure.

The company reckons
the player is reference quality and boasts 7.1-channel Dolby TrueHD and
DTS-HD Master Audio decoding as well as bitstream output. There are
also eight Wolfson Audio digital audio converters.

There are two
HDMI ports around the back for separate connection to video and audio
channels. The player’s aluminium body means there shouldn’t be any
audion leakage.

As expected, it comes with Kuro Link so you can control your Pioneer telly with the remote as well.

The BDP-LX91 is out in January for around £1,700.
