Samsung is set to ship its update to its netbook range with the arrival of its NC20.

The
device sports a 12.1-inch LED screen with a higher 1280 by 800
resolution. This pushes up the weight to 1.5kg, making it possibly the
heaviestnetbook on the market. That said you will get a full-sized keyboard into the bargain.

And the netbook ditches the Intel Atom processor in favour of the Via 1.3GHz Nano U2250 chip. There is 1GB of on-board
memory and a generous 160GB of hard disc space as well. This pushes it
to the limit specs wise as anything larger would mean that it wouldn’t
be allowed to run WindowsXP. Which thankfully is there in all its retro glory.

As well as the full keyboard it boasts Bluetooth and Wi-Fi built-in and a 1.3-megapixel webcam and a 3-in-1 SD card reader.

It also has a 6-cell battery which should help it last longer when away from the mains.

The thing will set you back £390.98 and is available in black or white.
