Canon CanoScan LIDE 700F scannerCanon has been busy this week, putting out three different but equally worthy announcements. Two of those being shouted out by press officers were printer launches, while the third sees a new CanoScan scanner in the works…

First up the printer. The Pixma MX860 is a new network-ready Office All-in-One machine.

“The Pixma MX860 combines Canon’s premium print engine, auto duplex scan and copy functions, a high speed Auto Document Feeder (ADF) of up to 35 sheets, and a super G3 fax. The addition of Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity allows multiple users to enjoy the Pixma MX860’s blend of imaging excellence and office productivity features.”

The Pixma MX860 will be available from March 2009 priced at £259 RRP (€289) including VAT.

Next up are two new Pixma inkjet All-In-One models, designed for home office users.

“The contemporarily designed Pixma MX320 and MX330 include versatile print, copy, scan, fax and ADF functionality. The models are at price points ideal for first-time buyers and price-conscious consumers. The Pixma MX330 also boasts a 4.5cm (1.8”) TFT display and several extra copier functions.”

The Pixma MX320 will be available from March 2009 priced at £99 RRP (€109) including VAT, while the PIXMA MX330 is available in the same month priced at £149 RRP (€169) including VAT.

Last but not least is the CanoScan LiDE 700F – the first Canon scanner ever to offer 9600 x 9600dpi optical resolution for film.

“The CanoScan LiDE 700F delivers rapid, high-quality scanning of documents, photos and 35mm film. It has a user friendly interface, a 3-way space saving design and with an attractive price point, it is equally suited to consumer and business users.”

The CanoScan LiDE 700F will be available from April priced at £119 RRP (€135) including VAT.
