Nokia E63 pay as you go VirginWe’re playing with a Nokia E63 right now. But you can easily get your hands on one yourself now that Virgin Mobile has become the first network in the UK to offer the E63 on its pay as you go tariff.

“Currently exclusive to Virgin Mobile, this deal is perfect for customers who want to stay connected to emails and the web while on the move, but don’t want to commit to a monthly contract,” a Virgin Mobile suit told us.

The PAYG tariff features unlimited 3G internet access for 30p a day, which is great for those addicted to social networking sites such as Facebook and Bebo (although a fair usage policy of 25MB per day applies, so don’t expect to sit there watching YouTube all day).

The deal also includes free mobile Instant Messenger for six months.

The Nokia E63 is also the first 3G Qwerty handset to be available on Virgin. It’s not all email and web browsing, though, and users can enjoy features such as a 2-megapixel camera, music player, FM radio, Wi-Fi and expandable memory.

The PAYG Nokia E63 is available through Virgin Mobile for £149.99, with the company also offering a contract for £18 a month with the first 3 months free.

“By launching the Nokia E63 on PAYG with Virgin Mobile, we are making staying in touch via email and social networking sites hassle-free for customers looking for a more accessible, affordable and flexible package,” said Graeme Oxby, Virgin Media’s MD of mobile.
