Joe Calzaghe, the undefeated former Super Middleweight and Light Heavyweight world boxing champion, will be in the red corner at HMV’s flagship Oxford Street store on Sunday 24th May to launch Punch-Out!! on the Nintendo Wii.
Joe will be in-store from 11.30am to challenge members of the public to a bout in the Punch Out!! ring, on stage and on screen.
Afterwards Joe will be available to meet fans and sign copies of the game bought in store that day.
In Punch Out!!, which is released on 22 May, up-and-coming fighter Little Mac works his way through a range of flamboyant boxing caricatures, with the help of his ringside trainer Doc Louis.
Everyone’s favourite underdog from the 1980s joins the best of the original Punch-Out!! cast in a modern update of the game that includes familiar names like Glass Joe, King Hippo and trainer Doc Louis, whilst capturing all the fun and flair of the original Punch-Out!! games.
