Both netbooks feature 160GB HDD Storage and 10GB Eee Storage; Wi-Fi 802.11n; three USB ports; Windows XP Home; and they’re available in black or white.
Both also feature Bluetooth 2.1 and a 1.3 megapixel webcam (although that’s dependent on which 1005HA model you buy).
One main difference – apart from those screen sizes – is that the removable Li-Ion battery in the Eee PC 1005HA offers up to 10.5 hours lifetime, while the Eee PC 1101HA has up to 9.5 hours.
Naturally, that’s on a single charge, but by carrying a spare replaceable battery pack users can continue to work away from power sources for even longer periods of time. Beat that other netbooks!
Both also include the large 92 per cent keyboard with full-size shift keys, plus enhanced with extra-wide palm rests to provide comfort and reduce fatigue over prolonged use.
They join the existing 1008HA model, which according to Asus already had that “elegant and lightweight design” offering “style and portability”. And who are we to argue?
