Previously an exclusive to iPhone and iPod Touch users, Etymotic has extended its award-winning hf2 headset to work with the BlackBerry Curve, Bold, Storm, Storm 2, Tour and Palm Pre handsets.
Etymotic’s hf2 said its headset has won a number of awards thanks to its “industry-leading fidelity and noise isolation”.
“The integrated microphone and music controls for seamless voice calls, combined with noise isolation and secure fit, has made this headset particularly popular,” an Etymotic statement said.
“And now BlackBerry and Palm Pre users can enjoy excellent music sound quality without missing a call.”
The hf2 headset comes with an array of ear-tips of different sizes.
“As smartphone functionality continues to develop, more people are choosing to listen to music on their mobiles rather than a separate MP3 or MP4 player,” said Michael Shaver, worldwide director of consumer product sales at Etymotic.
