Sony_DSLR-A450_digital_SLR_cameraNo-one wants the battery life of their camera to run out just as the photo opportunity of a lifetime appears. Sony‘s got your back in that respect and its new α450 camera offers “the most impressive shooting stamina of any DSLR camera by Sony to date”.

The high-capacity battery allows up to 1,050 shots between charges when using the optical viewfinder (CIPA measurement), which Sony says is “plenty for a busy weekend’s sightseeing”.

The new α450 DSLR camera offers:

* Sensitivity up to ISO 12800
* SteadyShot Inside uses up to four steps of anti-shake correction.
* Approximate dimensions excluding protrusions (W x H x D): 137mm x 104mm x 81mm

The Sony DSLR-A450 digital SLR camera features slots for Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo and SD/SDHC memory cards and is available from the beginning of February 2010.
