Aspire_easystore_h340Acer’s latest version of its Aspire easyStore home server is the H340, which can house up to four hot-swappable hard-disk drives for a maximum capacity of 6TB. Meanwhile, Buffalo has beefed up its TeraStation III iSCSI products, with a desktop range from 2TB to 4TB and the 1U Rackmount unit from 2TB to 8TB.

“Clothed in a brand-new stylish design, the Aspire easyStore is very compact, but can still house up to four hot-swappable hard-disk drives for a maximum capacity of 6TB, leaving you plenty of room to expand your digital library,” said an official Aspire statement.

“And they are easy to add, too. You just have to insert the disk in the slot and follow the simple setup to boost the storage capacity.”
