Are you ready for 3D TV? The answer better be yes because Samsung isn’t hanging around. The electronics company says its 3D sets will be arriving in Europe in March! That would make Samsung the first to deliver full HD 3D LED TV to the European market.
Samsung said all its 3D products include a proprietary built-in 3D processor and emitter, which is compatible with multiple 3D standards. That includes half and full-HD resolution formats, as well as the “Blu-ray 3D” standard approved by the Blu-ray Disc Association.
There’s even the opportunity to watch traditional 2D programmes in 3D…
“For those who want to add the third dimension to their regular TV viewing, Samsung included in its 3D processor an auto-conversion technology that renders 2D content into 3D in real time,” a Samsung spokesman said.
“Consumers can add a level of depth and clarity to a live football game, with the simple push of a button.”
The TVs will also support new content and applications, including AudioLounge, BoxOffice 365, and Cartoon Network.
