MSI’s Wind U160 laptop, with 15 hour battery life, is available to buy now in the US. MSI said the “incredibly efficient and Energy Star compliant U160” achieved its 15-hour battery life when running in MSI’s exclusive ECO mode.
“This allows users to get through a full day of work or school without having to bring their adapter,” an MSI suit told AG.
It’s not all efficiency, though, as the MSI Wind U160 netbook has already scooped a 2010 iF Product Design Award.
Other features include:
* Microsoft’s Windows 7 Starter
* Intel Atom N450 Processor
* 10-inch backlit LED display
* 1GB of DDR2 memory
* 160GB hard drive
* 6-cell battery
* Bluetooth connectivity
* Raised chiclet keyboard
* “Seamless wide” touchpad.
“The newest Wind model sports a slim new footprint: just 0.98 inches at its widest point, the U160 is the thinnest Wind model to date,” MSI said.
The MSI Wind U160 is available in a sparkling gold or formal black and costs $379.99.
