Virgin Media is in a showy mood. No wonder, since it’ll be demonstrating the UK’s first 200MB broadband service at the Ideal Home Show this year.
The company has sponsored the ‘Ideal Home of the Future’ and as well as a demo of the super-fast broadband, it will also be offering “a sneak preview of how home entertainment will become an integral part of UK homes – and lives – in the future”.
A Virgin Media spokesman said the service was “unlike anything the public has seen before”.
The 200MB broadband service has been trialling in Kent since summer 2009, with additional trials just starting in Coventry.
The Ideal Home Show takes place at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London from 20 March until 5 April.
