If you want to get one of Nokia’s eagerly awaited N8 smartphones, then you will only have to wait until 23 September. Nokia managed to leak the date accidentally on Google.
According to reports form Nokia fan blog NokNok.tv, the Finnish company leaked its release date ahead of schedule via purchase of an Google AdWord.
The handset features HD recording and a 3.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display. It also sports a 12-megapixal camera within its stylish design,a Carl Zeiss lens, auto-focus and Xenon flash. It can shoot 25fps 720p video, encoded to H.264.
It also boasts 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, has 16GB on-board storage, expandable with a microSD card and also has a Micro-USB socket.
The N8 will be the first handset that will run the new Symbian^3 smartphone OS. The company hopes the OS will be a strong answer to rivals Apple iPhone and Google Android.
