Amazon UK offers game trades

Amazon has launched a videogames trade-in store for UK gamers. British customers can now trade-in their unwanted games and accessories in return for credit to their Amazon.co.uk account.

“Trading-in with Amazon.co.uk is quick and easy, providing customers with a great way to exchange their old games and save money on future purchases,” said Chris Poad, director of video games at Amazon.co.uk.

“It’s a hassle-free experience with Amazon paying for postage and putting a Gift Card straight into the customer’s account once the item is received.”

Poad said there are three simple steps to trading-in at Amazon.co.uk:
* Select Items – Search for eligible items to trade-in and find out how much you’ll receive for each item
* Send Items Free of Charge – Print a delivery label and packing slip, package your items and post them at no cost
* Get a Gift Card – An Amazon.co.uk Gift Card will be deposited into your account upon receipt of games.

Trade-in prices are guaranteed provided they are postmarked within seven days of submission and items are received in an acceptable condition.
