Logitech_HD_Pro_Webcam_C910Logitech has opened its HD Pro Webcam C910 up to the eight per cent of people who use an Apple Mac by adding support for that system. Mac users will now be able to make HD video calls and Full HD video recordings.

“The newest Logitech HD webcam is not only plug-and-play ready with iChat, Photo Booth and FaceTime, but with the latest Logitech software for Macs, Mac fans can now experience Full HD 1080p video recording and one-click uploading to Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, as well as seamless integration with the editing and management functions of iPhoto and iMovie.” an official Logitech press release said.

“And for dazzling video calls in HD 720p, Mac enthusiasts can now enjoy the fast, free and easy-to-use Logitech Vid HD for Mac as well as Skype 5.0 Beta for Mac OS X.”

Eric Kintz, vice president and general manager of Logitech’s video business, said the webcam went much further than that, as it is compatible with all major video-calling clients.

The newly Mac-compatible Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 is currently available at an RRP of £89.99, while the Logitech Webcam Software for Mac is available for free download on the company’s website.
