When your gadgets are close to running out of power, it usually means having to use the supplied charger to top it back up again. This also means that you can’t use it while it is charging as the lead is short and not in a convenient place most of the time.

Innergie has launched its new LifeHub. This is a mobile USB power hub that allows you the freedom to be powered anytime and anywhere you want in your home. This should mean no more sitting cramped and uncomfortable next to a power socket when you’re low on power!

With three high power 2.1 Amp ultra-fast charging USB ports and 9.8 foot extended reach, LifeHub lets you to use and charge any combination of tablets, smartphones, or mobile devices at the same time when and where you want to sit.

LifeHub features a stylish design that stores easily on the CableCradle Manager, which neatly organises the LifeHub cable.

It also comes with a built-in InnerShield Power Protection. An integrated short circuit, over temperature, over current, and over voltage protections for reliable and efficient performance with over 10,000 portable devices.

It also features GreenSense technology incorporating high performance, energy efficiency, and power saving for a greener, cleaner planet.

In use, it proved that it allowed us to use our iPhone or iPad without having to be near the power socket. It also charged up very quickly.

At a suggested price of £54.99, it is a little on the expensive side, but does allow a modicum of convenience.
