Mercusys Technologies is new to the UK market, launching some value for money products.

With Mercusys Mesh Technology, Halo S12 works as a unified system to deliver a strong Wi-Fi signal in every corner of your home, covering up to 3,500 ft² (320 m²). If you want more coverage, just simply add another Halo.

Devices are intelligently connected to the Halo with the strongest signal and highest capacity. No more sudden signal drops or lagging Wi-Fi when you are walking around the house.

This product creates a Mesh network that helps you seamlessly transfer connection from one unit to the other by only using a single SSID. No more disconnection during transfer.

The design is simple. The nodes themselves feel plasticky and light which is fine for the price

The item itself is very discrete. Simple setup through the web browser and with the use of the pairing buttons on the mesh points, with an ethernet going from my main router in one of the nodes we were up and running within 10 mins.

The square devices are so lightweight you wonder if there is anything in them and they do need to be plugged into the wall for power and the cables are not overly long.

The signal strength is fairly good and covers the dead spot we wished to remedy with this device. It also allows you to choose the same network name as the host router which is good for auto-switching purposes.

An incredibly fair price for an extender comparable to the budget entry-level products. This extender is one of the only few that has three antennas for the price range

if you are a power user, you may appreciate the features and settings of a more premium unit but if you are looking for a basic mesh Wi-Fi setup at a competitive price, we say give this a go.
